Download CyanogenMod 11 App Screencast Video Recording on Android 4.4.1 Devices

Cyanogenmod Screencast AppCyanogenMod which is an open source replacement distributor for Smartphones and tablet based on Android mobile Operating system has released an app today, called Screencast (beta) that can record device’s screen running on Android 4.4.1.
CyanogenMod developer Koushik Dutta released this new beta app in the Google Play Store, who is known earlier for developing other utilities like an Allcast app that can stream from Android to Chromecast as well as Apple TV.
This Screencast app helps in capturing video of one’s screen just as  taking the screenshots, it can be activate it by holding volume up + power button (combo) on Nexus 5 device as we take screen shots on it by holding volume down + power button. The Screencast mode can be turned off by open the notification bar and tap the “Stop” button.
Koushik Dutta revealed that the app would run in any device rooted with Android 4.4.1 and may have a way for it to operate even on hardware that is not rooted. This app can be run by installing latest CM 11 Nightly if it is available for your device by downloading it from the Google Play Store.
Screencast app is complete with voice recording enabling developers wishing to replicate and test bugs while on go. This is definitely easier than any other solution on the market, and so far it seems to be working quite well for Android devices.
