You could call this as the next best Xperia, the rumored Sony Sirius
or the successor to the Xperia Z1, but a user in the XDA Developers
forum, iRimas, has posted a few photos of this Sony D6503 smartphone
that has never been in the scene, and thus this shows something that has
to come during the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona in Feb
2014.
The device D6503 is said to be having a similar Omnibalance design as well as the Sony and Xperia branding as in the previous ones, and there are a few design differences which one can easily notice from the Xperia Z1, including the smaller bezel size around the screen, and the different placement for the ports, and the speakers this time are three holes in the bottom rather than the speaker grill in the Xperia Z1.
The specifications of the D6503 are said to be these – A 20.7-megapixel shooter on the rear side with the G Lens, the same module as in the Xperia Z1 (and is a change needed when it’s all good in the current device?), and there would be a 5.2-inch display just like what was rumored for the Sirius. The device is said to be running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, and the thickness of the D6503 is not much different to that of the Xperia Z1, but that isn’t anything confirmed for now.
Some even said that this could be the Sony Xperia Z1L, which might come as a mixed successor to the Xperia ZL and the Z1, both launched in the year 2013. The Mobile World Congress event 2014 event is going to happen soon, i.e. in a month from now, and we are expecting Sony to launch this during that time after an excellent start to the year with the several announcements at the CES 2014.
