As promised prior to the CES 2014, ZTE has officially announced the
ZTE Grand S II Android smartphone with the 5.5-inch 1080p display and
the Snapdragon 800 processor. There are loads of special features in the
smartphone, which would make the smartphone experience better -
ZTE has already announced its plans for the year 2014, with the main device in the plan being the ZTE Grand S II with the “voice control technology that will enable users to unlock their phones or take a photo using their voice”. Apart from the voice recognition features, there are some audio enhancements too which the users would able to notice, like the “triple-MIC noise reduction for more natural and clearer voice calls”.
As for the other specifications and details, it is till the company gives some official info about the smartphone and we might find about them at the CES 2014 event. For what we can expect is a Snapdragon 800 processor along with the 2GB of RAM, and we are taking this from the score that the device got in the AnTuTu benchmark test which saw the score of over 33000 points, almost what the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 had got.
You remember why the Grand S was quite a bit appreciated? it wasn’t the processor or the display but the thickness of 6.9mm and we hope the Grand S II would not disappoint us with a thicker body, although if there is a heavier and better battery, that would be better than a thin body. We will be letting you know the official details as soon as the company lists them out.
Apart from the announcement of the Grand S II, the company has detailed about the ZTE Nubia Z5S and the ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini smartphones with some excellent details, and after the official launch in a few places, the smartphone would be now showcased at the CES 2014 event. And ZTE isn’t stopping here, because we are getting to know that they are in an association with Aio wireless, to announce the ZTE Sonata 4G, the 4G smartphone with a 4-inch display and some mid-range specs.
During the CES, the company will be displaying the new products including Iconic Phablet, a Projector Hotspot, their first smartwatch called BlueWatch and lastly the AT&T Wireless Home Base which would help the users connect their home telephone to the AT&T wireless network. There’s a lot from ZTE for the CES 2014, thus if you are at the event, do visit the booth. We would be detailing about each of the product very soon.
