HTC One Max launched in India, sky-high price of Rs. 56490 – Specs, Details

The HTC One Max which was launched last month in China, has finally made its entry into the Indian market but we have a reason why not to recommend this phablet – the pricing. The large 5.9-inch Full HD phablet with the 1920 x 1080 pixels with some good specifications has all reasons to be sold but the pricing doesn’t justify the same, for the only new feature that we see in the One Max, the fingerprint sensor on the back side.
The One Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, the quad-core chipset clocking at 1.7 GHz, 2GB RAM and there is an internal storage of 16GB, with a MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion to 64GB. It runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with the Sense 5.5 UI, and there is HTC Zoe and the HTC BoomSound.

The built-in fingerprint scanner on the back panel just below the camera helps in locking and unlocking the phone with the touch of the finger, and the same helps in launching three applications which you assign for three fingers. The UltraPixel rear camera with LED Flash, BSI Sensor,F2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens can capture 1080p Full HD videos with HDR and there is a 2.1-megapixel front facing HD camera too included. The metal unibody design of the One Max has two dual front stereo speakers with the built-in amplifiers and there are dual microphones with the Infrared remote control feature through the HTC Sense TV app.
The battery packed into the One Max has a capacity of 3300 mAh, and there are some good connectivity options, but HTC has recently been very high with the prices for all their smartphones. The actual MRP of the HTC One Max is Rs. 61,490, but the best buy price would be Rs. 56,490.
