Blu, the smartphone manufacturer which has been releasing some budget
smartphones lately, has come up with Studio 5.0 II for North America
market alongside the Blu Advance 4.0. This Smartphone from Blu is a Low
end phone coming in to the market in an entry level segment. Having a
5-inch touchscreen giving larger and brighter display, the Studio 5.0 II
is powered by a 1.3 Ghz dual core Media Tek MT6572 processor and a 512
MB RAM for the multitasking support. The GPU included in the smartphone
is ARM MALI 400-MP1 GPU, which would assist in the better graphics
output.
This is an Android powered handset from Blu, which has been in the US market for quite some time now and is shipping to dealers and distributors through U.S. it supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and 21Mbps HSPA+ 850/1700/1900MHz connectivity, the 5 MP back camera has the ability to record video with 720p at 30 fps. The company says it is going to use the Infinite View Technology in the display.
The company itself has compared this with the Samsung Galaxy Grand, given the specifications as both have a 5-inch display and similar processor, so the key point for BLU to sell this would be the price point.
