ASUS Transformer Book Duet TD300 with Windows & Android Dual-Boot – Specs, Details

Earlier Micromax launched Micromax LapTab, a dual OS device in the CES 2014, now it’s time for ASUS which had the plans on these dual OS computers before, has announced its Transformer Book Duet TD300 in the event . This new Transformer Book Duet TD300 tablet-laptop hybrid from ASUS runs on Windows 8.1 or Android Operating System. This year seems to be topping with dual OS systems.

The ASUS Transformer Book Duet TD300 has a physical switch button which instantly changes the Operating System as per the user requirements. This device was announced at the CES that can be used as a laptop or tablet. This device was planned to roll out with Android 4.1, but at the last instant it was decided to get a built of Android 4.2.2 on the device.
This device will be flaunting with a 13.3 inch full HD IPS display and a HD camera on the front. This device powered by a Intel Core i7 processor packing a 128 GB SSD with microSD card slot, USB v3.0 and v2.0 ports, a LAN port and HDMI 1.4. There also keyboards dock with a whooping 1 TB of disk space.

Other configurations are not yet know but ASUS is planning on shipping the device to Asia and Europe late in the first quarter of the year and to US by the end of the second quarter.
