Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Version Certified by Google – Available from 24th Dec – Specs, Pricing

The Oppo N1 that was released earlier this month has got an official approval by Google for its CyanogenMod Edition. Oppo N1 will be the first CyanogenMod Android phone running on a third party version of Google’s mobile OS. This handset is going to ship with CyanogenMod 10.2 that is getting launched on December 24th just a day before the eve of Christmas.
This CyanogenMod Oppo N1 is coming with the latest version of the CM, which is pre installed with the handset. This Google CTS (compatibility test suite) certified phone will have all the Google applications which include the Play Store also. This version will be offered in limited edition that includes CM packing with specially designed case and Oppo mascots with stickers.

After the certification from Google, Cyanogen Mod’s Koushik Dutta seemed to be relived with the announcement, on Google+ he  posted – Man, the last 24 hours has been a total rollercoaster of emotions, and it isn’t letting up it seems.

Oppo N1 CyanogenMod Version is anyhow coming with almost the same specifications but has an updated Android 4.3 OS based on CyanogenMod 10.2 with some software updates. As announced earlier by the company, we are expecting that there is no change in the Oppo N1 CyanogenMod pricing, as it was costing $599 for the Color OS based standard version.

So planning to get this CyanogenMod model? grab it soon because its a limited edition. And especially if you are looking to install one of the custom ROMs such as the CyanogenMod in a smartphone later on, then why not the one from the company itself?
