Hong Kong based Sunstrike Telecom’s OPS 80D has been launched in the market of India at Rs.9,999. India is the third largest Smart Phone market in the world, no wonder to see new firms every week in the Indian market. The Smart Phone is decent enough and has the specifications similar to the phones coming in the price range from Micromax, Karbonn and other.
The Sunstrike Telecom that has been serving the semi urban segments, is now expanding its Smart Phone portfolio in India with the new OPS 80D handset. This device is currently available for a cheaper price than its launch price, for Rs. 7,399 on e-commerce sites like eBay and Shopclues.
The device comes with a 5 inch 480 x 854 pixels display that is quite low in the resolution point of view. Further it is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual core processor supported by a 512 MB RAM, boosting the social networking feature of the phone. The Smart Phone runs on Android v4.2.2 and there is no word on the update till now.
There is an 8 MP camera on its rare with LED flash and a secondary front VGA camera with 0.3 MP. The on board memory of the device is 4 GB that can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card. The battery is on a good side with 2200 mAh Li-Polymer battery.
