Motorola Moto G India Launch Details to be out on February 5th, accd. to Company – Details

The Motorola team once again keeps the fans involved but not totally happy with the new update, saying that the actual details about the launch of the Moto G smartphone in the Indian market are going to be announced on February 5th 2014. This is for the second time that Motorola has sent an update about the announcement but didn’t actually announce the device, after the promise in November 2013 that early January would be the time when the company releases the phone in the Indian market.

The official Facebook page of Motorola, posted an update saying:
Moto G launch details for India will be announced on February 5. Stay tuned!
February 5th is not the date when Motorola will launch the Moto G, but is the day when they would just give the details about the availability, thus making another stretch of about a month easily from the day they announced earlier. The Australia, Malaysia and Dubai markets recently saw the launch of the Dual SIM versions of the Moto G, but there is no information about the variants that would be available in the Indian markets when it would be launched.
Apart from the launch date, the other concern for many interested buyers would be the pricing, as many were looking at this to be the next best budget Android device from a popular company, coming straight from under the eyes of Google, which makes it further interesting. The Moto G was launched in US with the price set at $179, and just a few days back, the Moto G Google Play Edition was also launched for the same price. A leaked memo recently even claimed that Verizon might sell the Moto G for $99.99 off-contract, but for now it hasn’t become a reality.
The Moto G comes with the 4.5-inch HD display and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocking at 1.2 GHz and there is 1GB RAM to support it. The phone has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera and has the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean running, but out-of-the-box there would be Android 4.4.2 KitKat update available for it.
