Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Leaked Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS – Hints for Update Soon

A good news for all the Note 3 users, as Samsung Galaxy Note 3 gets Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware online. This leaked build is expected to be the final update for KitKat after the update was pushed for Samsung Galaxy S4 few days earlier. This update will be available for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 provided it is an international SM-N9005 (Snapdragon 800 model with LTE bands) variant.

This is a up-to-date software for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and SamMobile posted a test version of the Galaxy Note 3’s Android 4.4.2 update featuring the built number of KOT49H.N9005XXUENA6. Many changes include the usal KitKat goodies, the TouchWiz visual theme, white status bar icons (from the green) and a camera shortcut directly on the lock screen. These were already found on Samsungs Galaxy S 4’s recently leaked build and there also full screen album art during music playback.
There was a significant improved performance that was seen in the benchmark scores that are off the charts. News is that even the unlocking process has been improved for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with this latest update. But any how this update is only for the international variant (SM-N9005) so the others need to wait for some time more!
If you own an international variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 version you can install this test update by yourself from the SamMobile official website. Samsung has not announced its plans of rolling out the official Android 4.4.2 but we can expect to get it within a couple of weeks, but other variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 , have to wait much longer for the update to hit their device.
However if you wish to upgrade to this Android 4.4.2 KitKat test firmware, you need to remember that, the mobile date should be backed up before updating as flashing this update can wipe all the data from your device. let us know how the update is working and be with us for more information.
