Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 For Education Announced with Google Play for Education – Specs, Details

Samsung re-launched its Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 that was originally released in the early 2013 with many mid range specifications and was not a device that would have impressed the users but for a 10 inch tablet it was coming for a relatively cheaper price. The improvised version of this is coming as an educational tablet that was also seen in the other Tab’s like the Galaxy Tab 2 and the original Galaxy Tab.


This educational tablet will be featuring a 10.1 inch touch screen as the name of the device indicates, with a WXGA display and 1280 x 800 resolutions. The Tablet is powered by a dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor clocking at 1.6 GHz and is coupled with a 1 GB RAM. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 has a 3.15 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calling and will be coming in 16 GB or 32 GB variants with a microSD card slot to extend the memory. The device will also have the NFC connectivity and WiFi for better connectivity and packs a 6800 mAh battery on its back to power the device.

Samsung included the Google Play for Education store on this tablet with the latest Android running in it the Google play allows the educators to access to a wide selection of teacher approved apps, books and videos that will be more interesting and will give more personalized learning to each student. Moreover the teachers will be able to search for the content by grade, subject and standard.
This exclusively developed for education tablet will be available for K-12 schools next academic year (2014–2015) and the Korean manufacturer is hoping that the device will give good sale in the Schools. This model will only be available in schools and other bulk buyers very soon. Pricing of the device is not mentioned for now and improvement in the sectors of technology will also improve the way of living.
